vilablanch wins the People's Choice Award in the AZ AWARDS 2023

On June 23, Toronto experienced a night full of design and architecture during the AZ Awards 2023 gala. And vilablanch did not want to miss this special event.

The venue chosen for this year's celebration was the Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto, a former factory converted into a magnificent space for events, conventions and all kinds of initiatives linked to innovation and sustainable actions. The ceremony featured Craig Dykers, founding partner of the architecture firm Snohetta, as guest of honor.

The joy came at midnight, when the winners were announced: our project "Living in a Work of Art"  won the People's Choice Award in the Best Residential Interior category. 

Receiving this award was a great honor for us, as we reached the final alongside renowned studios such as Studio mk27 by Marcio Kogan, Studio Paolo Ferrari and Suzzanne Wilkinson Interiors & WilliamsonWilliamson.
 

About the AZ Award

The AZ Awards are international architecture and design awards launched in 2011 by the prestigious AZURE magazine. These awards recognize excellence and innovation in our industry, and showcase the best projects, products and ideas from around the world.

This year saw the 13th edition, which was very special because it achieved a record number of entries: more than 1,000 entries submitted in the various categories, of which only 83 made it to the final.
